All my life, I've been blinded.
Never with a thought of being open-minded.
Being betrayed and broken by friends.
Always wondering when the pain will end.
No thought in the world could change my mind.
Not every emotion can be left behind.
Hearing the voices inside my head.
Led me to think of feelings undead.
In a new life, I have resided.
All previous feelings have subsided.
In this life I've begun anew.
I've found friends proven to be true.
Those who were there through thick and thin.
And were always there to lift up my chin.
They have seen through all my flaws and mistakes.
They have cured me of many heartaches.
I know I've found friends who will always be there.
And I know we'll continue to make memories to share.
I thank GOD for each and every one.
And I thank my friends for all they have done.
