Life and time

by Rattlehead   Dec 13, 2006

Why does time pass by so fast
forgetting what lies in the past
scattered remains of one thought
memories of what time forgot
hands of time ever changing
river of life ever raging
the death of life a unpunished crime
life measured by father time
wishing memories of time could talk
we can never understand times eternal clock
recording time and recording history
but life is still one big mystery
power of time at the edge of a fingertip
so close but not enough to grip
knowledge of the universe in Gods hand
knowledge we weren't meant to understand
time with your love you must spend
because with time life was meant to end
