Went by fast

I came over
had a blast
spent the weekend
didn't want it to end

didn't want to leave
left you to finish
your sophomore year
alone had no
choice it had to
be so

the weekend went
by so fast it
had to end its
the lat day together

my mom was on her way
all we could think about
is this really happening?
am i really leaving?

my mom pulled up
it was time to go
we walked outside

gave you a hug
tears came down my
face didn't want to leave

gave you another hug
then turned and drove away
looking back at you

tears down your face you
are hurt & so am i
i cant live without
you it hurts so much

leaving you my best friend
hurts to say its true
the time we had spent
together went by fast!!!

    Hey,
    Awesome poem, I just moved 259 miles (6-8 hrs) away from my best friend for life, I saw her right before we pulled out for the road and we both were crying, Here it is almost a month later and I'm really missing her..

    All I can really say that might help is, if you guys were really close then nothing can come between a friendship that strong, you guys will see eachother soon hopefully!!
