It was a beautiful world

Alone in a star filled daze of a dream,
Looking blindly at the colorful world.
Running down the sidewalks,
and thinking of the memories
and all the times before these.
With the wave of my finger,
I paint the sky silver,
And the sidewalk a beautiful green.
Each house a different color,
One as vibrant as the next.
Each one screaming its statement.
The world around me was so beautiful,
But once you left the colors faded.
The happiness crept into the shade,
And the colorful world was no more.
