It wasn't for reading my journal
Or because you turned nocturnal
It's true I doubted your love
But that never caused an extra shove
It wasn't because I trusted you
One of only a few
Who heard my rants
Don't blame yourself for saying I can't
I'll admit I was then scared
But it's easy to see how I fared
In my eyes its success
It yours a total mess
But nonetheless
I no longer stress
I have completed my quest
It's not your fault
So don't even think to halt
It was all me
For I couldn't see
The beauty in life
