The moments they make me miss
Celebrations
School conferences
Just moments of you being you
All up in smoke
to never be seen again
Your growing so much
I am missing it all
I grab the moments I can
and hold them dear to my heart
But there is nothing I can do
to retrieve those moments
They have stolen
