My love

by Kayla Katastrophe   Dec 16, 2006

Another night spent in the rain,
That beats down to coincide with my pain,
My tears are lost in the waterfall's grace,
And I am left feeling out of place.
My wings are tattered, drenched and torn,
My fragile figure is weak and forlorn,
I pound my fists on the dark tarmacadam street,
And the rhythm thuds with my heartbeat.

No sound, no more, no more to be heard,
A fallen blue angel in a cold dark world,
Silence ringing in my ears,
And the burning in my eyes brought by my tears.
Rescue me for I need saving,
Take me back into your haven,
I am where I do not belong,
Rescue me, for I'll soon be gone.

He heard my cry but did not heed,
He left me crying on my knees,
The rain was falling all around,
And I faded away without a sound.
I loved you, I loved you, I loved you,
I really loved you true,
I loved you, you know I still love you,
But you didn't love me too
