Dallas.

A blessing in disguise,
an angel on 4 legs.
All you've ever done was right,
Nothing ever wrong.

The few times I scolded you
are now pointless.
All you ever wanted was a little friend
nothing ever more
you even raised a kitten
when its mother ran away.

Now everyone always said
you'd never make it to my 16th
but here we are.
6 months to go and we'll of proved them wrong
Though winters hared
and you can't move.

The cancer's gotten worse
spread to your leg.
Can feel it running threw
and if it gets too much
I give you permission to go.
I'll see you soon

I love you,
my best friend.
