A quick little smile
as I walk through the hall
pass by me silently
did we have a clue at all?

did we know it would end up
catastrophly horrible like this?
i bet if you told us months ago
we would be taken amiss.

\"we are going to be best friends forever.\"
But, my how things change
i guess we weren\'t so clever.

But i do admit
i miss you more than you know.
You were a sister, a guardian
and for you, my heart brightly shone.

Theres a pain in chest
a stabbing in my heart
as I see everyday
how we\'re growing more apart

\"you\'re still my best friend\"
but you seem to overlook
how our friendship is coming to an end.

But if i\'m gone tomorrow
i want you to know
i\'ll always look out for you
anywhere you go

and if life decides to take us
on completely different paths
you should always know
