Every Morning (Long Version)

by Stephish   Dec 18, 2006

Sunrise is inside and out
Butterflies out of the doubt
They sit across one girl at school
Of fitting in, she defies all rule
Like rainbows melting into sky
No one needs the reason why
Into night sun pierces brightly
For onto life she holds on tightly
Yet they try to hold her back
Fading colors into black
For their skies must be black or blue
Inner essence breaks the hue
Try to place her in a box
But she'll fly away despite the locks
There's truth inside this seeming melt
Youthful crayons aren't seen, but felt
Her spirit breaks through every glare
Darkness flees far from the air
Skies of violet, orange and pink
There's more to life than what they think
Not stopping now, it's in her eyes
Every morning the sun will rise
