You're a Teenager

by TRAGiC BEAUTY   Dec 18, 2006

You're finally a teenager
You've moved on from being a kid
You've moved on from all the little things
And all the crazy things you did

I can't believe you've turned thirteen
You crossed the bridge between the two
Not a kid nor an adult
Right now you're just being you

You still seem like such a little girl
I can't believe you are a teen
I can't believe it's your birthday
And you're living the teenage dream

You're thirteen and older
I believe you have grown
You're learning things that you
Have never even known

I'm so happy it is your birthday
I can't believe you're another year
And how much you've learned
It almost gives me a tear....

My sis just turned 13! This is my first poem in a while that hasn't been a love poem! I hope it's ok!
