Withered leaves,Love in bloom

by Shoooleeee   Dec 19, 2006

Remember last Autumn
When we swayed on the rusty swing
The trees were ripped of their dignity
With another fresh swirl of withered leaves

Staring into each other\'s eyes
A love that cannot be spoken
The passing wind ripped through
Destroyed the special moment

Catching a stray lock of hair
Tucking it safely behind my ear
Disconnected from the world
And all our deepest fears

A smile played at the edges of your lips
And then on mine
The last of the trees relented
From the spidery branches, they fall in time

Our faces came closer
Our cheeks caressed
I was sure
That was when our lips met
