Little Girl

by DJ Jodie   Dec 20, 2006

Little Girls kneels at the foot of the bed,
Droops on her little hands and rests her little gold head,
Hush hush whisper who dares,
This Little Girl is saying her prayers.

Hands on her pillow grasping it tight,
Head full of anger, life full of fright,
Never will you see this girl lonely or upset,
She has a way of releasing it all, a way to make her forget.

But this little girl, she keeps it all inside,
Locks away that pain and there it will hide,
Until The end of the day when she can set it free,
She releases it in her prayers for everone to see.

She puts up with the day .. and waits for the night,
Where she can forget her head is full of anger and her life is full of fright,
Because to her your happiness is the most important thing,
No matter how much sadness her own life can bring.

You are all she thinks about and prays for at night,
You help her forget all about the anger and even all the fright,
So she kneels down, and to god she always says,
Please thank my angel for brightening all my days.

So after her day full of pain and hours full of sadness,
She forgets all about it and is now filled with gladness,
\"Thankyou That you came in and made my world so whole\",
\"Thankyou for destroying my fears and filling up my empty soul.\"

So that Little Girl kneels at the foot of the bed,
The pain from her day now restored with happiness in her head,
Hush hush .. whisper who dares,
This Little Girl Is Saying Her Prayers.

This is somewhat sad yet so beautiful, that it brought me to tears and gave me Goosebumps all at the same time.
