Mermaid

by Lyssa   Dec 20, 2006

Her eyes glisten like the pools of cascading cerulean she basks in.

Her corn silk hair is like the sunlight, so pure.

Her features are soft but still prominent.

Her skin glows with an undying light.

Her lips, plump, the color of blushing coral.

The pigment of her scales that begin appearing on her abdomen, after her navel, though transparent, fade into a proud, metallic-looking grass-green, blues mixed in. When the light hits them just right, they resemble dragonfly's wings, and glow purple in the night.

Finally, her singing voice is like a soothing spell, charming you into joining her in the water.

Hmm... how alluring.
