Christmas is near
And all that's left to say
Is Merry Christmas Grandad
I miss you every day.
You're flowers have now faded
But new ones now appear
And I miss you very much Grandad
You always gave us cheer.
You now are in Heaven

Unlike the days where you gave me hugs
While I sat on your knee.
