The flow

by At~The~Edge   Dec 20, 2006

She walks along the dark street
Alone and confused
Shes not sure what happened
She doesnt know what to do

She remembers being hit
By something large and tall
Nothing else is remembers
Nothing else is recalled

She starts to think about what happened
Making assumptions she cant prove
Nothing is making sense
She only sees her bruise

She doesnt know were shes going
She doesnt plan to stop
She will walk forever
She is all shes got

The pain starts to get to her
Her head starts to throb
She cant take anymore
She sits down and sobs

Her tears fall like rain
An endless waterfall
Until a man walks by
A man whos large and tall

He starts to explain what happened
And why it had to be so
She had broken his heart
And for that she had to go

Then that night she realized
A heart is not a game
It holds together a love
That helps one stay sain

She will never take for granite
The things that she now knows
No more tears will fall
She has finally stop the flow
