Kissing The Face of Murderers

Actions Speak Louder Than Words, Maybe That's Why You Can't Hear Us Crying Out: Part II: Kissing The Face of Murderers

bottled up the emotions we've held so dear
the ones that are no longer held down by fear
second chances for the unprepared
security for the sacred and scared

Forever we will be left in the shallow wake of our murderers
Forever our hearts will break for the sake of our murderers

we collapse under the pressure of the sea
where all that's left is loneliness and misery
breath for water filled lungs
fathers for bastard sons

from our lips to your cheek
from the damned, broken, and the weak
we never wanted it like this
we just wanted one last kiss
to kiss it all good-bye

Forever we shall be kissing the face of our murderers
Forever we shall hang from the strings of our murderers

our fragile bodies brave the waves
as we retire to our graves.
