Today I Grabbed A Knife...

Today I grabbed a knife,
and I slid it across my skin,
today I grabbed a knife,
and committed a terrible sin.

Today I grabbed a knife,
and did something I thought I would never do,
today I grabbed a knife,
just to show how much I love you.

Today I grabbed a knife,
then I watched my blood drip by,
today I grabbed a knife,
and then I began to cry.

Today I grabbed a knife,
and said my last goodbyes,
today I grabbed a knife,
and asked the world why.

Today I grabbed a knife,
and then that was it.
Today was the day I grabbed the knife,
and I slit my very last slit.
