Cold-Hearted

by Whisper   Dec 22, 2006

You only care about the outside
And you don't even know my soul
Immediately you turn away
And show that deep inside you're cold

I'm compassionate and caring
Inquisitive and kind
I have a heart of silver
And I still have much to find

Though all you want are features
A face and body of gold
I'm sorry I don't have that
I'm sorry I seem too cold

You act as if I'm nothing
You act as if you're bold
You act as if your heart is bright
But all you are is cold

Deep blue eyes of icicles
Dark black hair of hell
Deep toned skin from darkness falls
And a heart from where you fell

Maybe you should find yourself
Become just as kind as me
If you think outlook is everything
Then what do others see?
