Worthless

by Wings Of Flames   Dec 22, 2006

Swig of whiskey,
Sip of rum,
Clinking bottles,
Start the fun,

Falling over,
Laughing loud,
Head spinning,
In drunken clouds,

Slurp of Vodka,
Scull the wine,
Clinking bottles,
Start to pine,

Trouble stirs,
And laughs are crys,
Just kids alone,
Told mother lies,

No one drinking,
Yet too late,
Into the arms,
Of weakened state,

Open the door,
A man arrives,
He heard the noise,
Who will survive?

His heart is throbbing,
A rapist dream,
Girls of plenty,
Who'd dare not scream,

"Please be a dream.
And I'll wake up in the end.
I never want to sleep.
If only horror was to send."

A lesson taught in cruelty,
A teacher with a smirk,
Students with damaged minds,
Just one of drinking's quirks,

One girl down,
Two men f**k,
Three minds lost,
We're outta luck.

Very fitting title. I liked the storyline but there were a few stanza's that didn't make complete sense. Still very realistic. The flow was good as well. <3

I love the poems that are dizzy-ing in their ways. This one makes me feel as if I'm spinning WAY out of control. Love it like all others.

My friends would know why i wrote this. We made some mistakes and now we realise the dangers of drinking. Not all the things in this poem actually happened but i realise how easy it is to actually happen. Those of you who decide to drink. Make wise choices and be so very careful.

    With love and light
