It was indeed a wonderful feeling
Chatting with you and hearing your voice
So I am sure that coming on line this morning
Was surely a very good choice.
The conversation though a serious and somewhat touching one
Set the tone for my day
I knew that everything that would have happened
Would only help to brighten my day.
I know that prior experiences would be there to affect you
Making you analyze and think a lot more
And opening up your heart to any other man
Is not something you will do for sure.
I can tell you I will not hurt you
Or maybe that you’ll always be the apple of my eye
Though these things may be sincerely true
I want to earn your trust as time goes by.
So I want to be that special friend to you
Always willing to lend an ear
Doing all the things a friend should do
Then you will know without a doubt, that I care.
So stay forever sweet my turtledove
I hope we can continue to brighten each other’s days
Hoping to meet someday face to face
