New Blade

by becka   Dec 22, 2006

I fill the tub up full of water
Knowing very well what I'm about to do
Fully clothed, I step in and lie down
I reach for the blade, it's brand new
Pushing it deeper into my wrists
I start to cry
This is what I wanted
But the question is why
I'm now lying here
In a crimson lake
I throw my arm out of the tub in pain
As I die
My wrist makes a bright crimson puddle on the floor
When they find me like this
I doubt they'll be surprised
I've always shown signs of suicide
She walks in and screams
"Somebody help her please!"
But when the ambulance arrives
They find it's much to late
I am gone away from you now
I just hope I'm going to be happier here.
