Last Night at 8:03pm

by Victoria Rainey   Dec 23, 2006

Last night at 8:03
I was sitting on my table
Till I heard a phone call ring
I heard a familiar voice
Could it be?
Everything turned right
my heart soared the sky
Oh so much I wanted to
look into his baby blue eyes
once again
I remembered the time
We had together
We were best friend forever
Till he went to a different school
I lost contact with him for at least two years, felt like a fool
He was a friend who was there for me
He picks up my broken heart and puts it together
cause we was best friend forever
Without him I would be lost
Everything changed for the good
Till last night at 8:03
I was sitting at my table
Till a phone call rings
He was back in my heart
Never again will we part
Our new friendship is at a start
Never will it end
once again
We talk nonstop
What we did in second grade
how we would hide
and play
up in that red slide
and that was where our first kiss
We would laugh
We would cry
Because we arent there to be in each other arms
Not there to hold eachother tight
I told him
When its night
Look for the northern star
Cause I will be there in spirit
to hold him in my arm
Looking at the exact northern star
Ever since last night at 8:03
Our friendship remained
Our friendship grew
Til one day, I was in his arms,
looking at the exact northern star
