Who am I?

I look hard in the reflection
I try so hard to see who is looking back at me
But I see in my hand
Is a small pointy blade
the one I have made
I rub it gently
Many things are running through my mind
Whether I should live or die
I wipe my tears
As my masacara smears
I have voices in my head
telling me what to do
Every thing is happening too soon
I press the blade against my fragile wrist
I shout, but no no noise came out
Red ooze came out pretty quick
I start trembling
I dropped the blade in the sink
I couldn't believe
this was me
doing suicide
and soon I was going to die
I pressed hard at the cut
I looked at the reflection
found another girl looking in my direction
a new girl who was me
I decided to started over
not everybody get a second chance
I went sober
stopped thinking about suicide
started thinking about the positive of life

please rethink before you do suicides.....comment pls!!!!!

    Great poem....but very scary....i went thro a time in my life i did that but i finally told my parents cuz i got way too out of control!!!...so if ne one that reads this cutss plzzzz tell ur parents or at least sum 1 u kno can help u!

    This piece is really nice and the underlying message is really good. Suicide is a serious sin. You must have awakened so many hearts with this very beautiful poem.
