Can't wait

by Christina McDowell   Dec 25, 2006

My patience is running low
I can't wait much longer
I didn't want you to go
Time is going by longer and longer

Every second takes a minute
It's taking forever
I just pout and sit
I just want us to be together

My heart is on fire
My mind is burning
Your call for me is dire
I guess my heart is just learning

Hoping you'll cal tonight
Can't wait to hear your voice
That's the only thing that seems right
It's the only choice

For me to feel better
And not feel so sappy
So I can feel greater
And be really happy

I wonder what you're doing
Or if you're thinking of me
Where are you going?
We'll finally agree

So many thoughts
Flowing through my mind
My stomach in knots
My head in a bind

I miss you so much
I wanna be with you
I want your touch
I'll be real true

I'll be there
To be there for you always
No matter where
Throughout the days

I'm in a dream
In a happy illusion
We work as a team
Needing a happy conclusion

Hold my hand
And hold my body tight
We're really grand
As we shine in our light...
