Is this fair?

by Eliana A LeDuc   Dec 27, 2006

Is it fair for a woman to get attached to a smile?
Because she has been feeling empty for more than a little while.

Is it fair for her to go back to her youth?
To have a little secret and a crazy crash on you?

Preciously a dream that must not live.
Is this fair for her? Is this fair for me?

Is this fair to wish for something will never be?
That will never grow, and will never feel.

Is it fair to anybody to look around and figure out
that there is more in life than a beautiful house?

Is this fair to laugh just thinking on how we will ever meet?
While my husband lays down in the same set of sheets

Is this fair for my husband? Is this fair for me?

Is this fair to feel so guilty?
Because I can not stop thinking.

Because in my mind there is not wrong
There is just pleasure and fantasy... that is all.

Is this fair to make love and at the same time feel so wrong?
Is this fair to you? Is it fair for whom?

Is it fair to be added in a game?
In which you had never agreed to play.

I don't think it is fair,
On the contrary, I think it is wrong.

Then, should I stop thinking? Yes, but I won't.
No matter how many times you tell me "STOP"
