My hero

by Leo   Dec 28, 2006

I often wonder what makes a hero?
What is a hero?
Then when it comes to mind, My hero is a young man, not yet of age but a man who has lived his whole life.
This man was thrown into adult hood by mistake. He has seen things no child or human should see. He endured pain no human should suffer. And he has lost what no human should lose.

For this man is my brother, Not yet of age but he has sacraficed his whole life for our great nation. The men who say that we have no busniness fighting a great war, I tell you this, He is the one who is staying up night after night to protect your freedoms, he is the man who is risking his life to do the job you did not want to do, He is the man who Volintered his his time when you could not.

And this is what makes my hero. With out him life would not be the same.

There are women and men in this great nation who make up my hero, but there is only one special one to me, and i hold him in my heart forever.
