The Word Made Flesh

by NytherHerenorTher The hooded poet   Dec 29, 2006

There is no man like unto the
son of man, no not one
That Jesus himself would come down form above, yes God's holy son

Wrapped in human flesh and swaddling clothes, manifested within
the womb of the Virgin Mary

Love unimaginable, grace unknown, from the halls of heaven, that precious Jesus would step of his throne

He came to show the hearts of men that there WAS a way to reconnect to God, to remove their sin

Rejected by the world to because of his holy kindness, because of satan's hatred and blindness

Jesus, down from David, down to this earth, spotless and blameless,
holy

So let us this time of year take time to bring baby Jesus his right amount of laud,
yes let us exalt this holy baby, the Word made flesh, the perfect son of God
