A Plead For Help From Above

by Daz Mellow   Dec 31, 2006

For the past few years.
All the cheer in the world had been replaced.
With bitterness between two and more.
All the wars that surround us.
Shaking the ground underneath out feet.
I hope for the peace to be restored.
Waiting for the world to renew with tenderness and love.
Take this as a plead for help from above.

War rage over every now and then.
We watch the grieving cry on the faces of men.
That fought to succeed, they sought for freedom.
We, all fought to be the best.
To stand out from all the rest.
With an order from one power hungry man.
His greed and bitterness threatens to tear apart a land.
As the world shook and crumble.
People ran for cover.
They look up to those that led.
While they sneer at those who fled.
Under all the blood and despair.
One little girl sat in her chair.
While her life was perfect.
She was aware of the rage all around her.
She made a wish for it to all be over.
If one was to stop and listen.
Stop to think, live, and love.
They too would plead for help from above.
