There's a girl crying in my mirror tonight,
nothing i can say to make her feel alright

i don't know who she is, don't recognise her face,
she's a beautiful girl, fallen from grace

nothing's right, everything goes wrong
her one wish is to just belong

she has no one around to make her feel good
this young girl, she's never understood

all alone is where her broken heart is now
"i just want to love and be loved," was her one vow

her heart broken, torn, in self defence
this poor girl is such a mess

she doesn't know what it's like to feel loved
always being rejected, pushed and shoved

why don't i know her? i think i've seen her around
her tears don't stop flowing, they fall to the ground

this girl is strong, she's going to make it through
she's not going to give up and that is true
