How do you let the pain go
That has been with you for so long?
A constant reminder
Of all the things that went wrong

Tears make it stop
For a limited time
Then you get the flashbacks
Like someone hit rewind

Your head falls into your hands
As tears hit the ground
You need someone to talk to
Without making a sound

Someone who knows
Of all of your past
All of the hardships
That you always mask

Someone to be there
Who doesn't need to ask
Someone who knows
How to make the pain pass

    I really liked this poem but it feels like something is missing. Maybe you need one more line at the end to close it. i dunno...but it was really good!

    I really liked this poem! The ending was great, and I could visualize this girl with her head in her hands. It was just so good. I couldn't believe how much I liked it. The only part that lacked the flow of the rest of the poem was this line
    Like someone hit rewind
    But that was the only part that through me. The rest was excellent!
