Callous Deeds (Blood That You Spilt).

by Unrequited   Dec 31, 2006

I have arrived
inside a tombstone of your guilt
immortalized
by the blood that you spilt
glittered dust in teary eyes
it's what's left of the night

speak clearly
storm clouds pierce your darkened lips
spinning stars make you bleed
love is the cure we don't need
it's only death
livid voices in my mind
callousness;
it's the end of tonight

victims swallow their pride
malicious deeds never voiced
beneath the stars
battered scars
living in their graves
on a foggy night, we reach the end
some hollow soul turns out the light
leaving us in gloom
here, our love cannot survive

it's not what i wanted
not what we needed
but the heavens fill the void
leaving us alone
withering away on foggy Christmas nights
it's the end of our life
love could never save what we had

i die, lost in dark seclusion.

I like the way you write, it really shows that you're not selfish at all, cuz you base your poems on the whole world not just you... *thumbs up*

Your two greatest talents seem to be imagery and word choice. Of course, the two do tend to work closely together. Without the imagery and creative and imaginative words, this poem would be sorely lacking. It's a great point of view, and I really enjoyed reading it.
