Everyday is just an act

Can't you see
What's hurting me?

You see me as a perfect girl
With perfect hair
Perfect clothes
And a perfect life

But I'm not perfect
No one is

I stare at that razor every night
I know it's such a fright
But it seems to make everything alright

Can't you see I'm not perfect
I cut
I bleed
I feel
But you don't see the true me

    Great poem Cassie, very nicely written. AndIagree with Maida... it's heart-breaking... I've been depressed before... VERY depressed... neglected, heart-broken, all those things... and I have never beendriven to HURT myself in any way, let alone cut myself... that is so dangerous. If you are a cuuter...Please get help.
