Smooth Sailings

by Taylor   Jan 2, 2007

Step into my soul.
The area you consume in me
is half the size of a quarter,
but that doesn't matter.
I'll make room for you.

It's smooth sailings from here.

You seep into me.
Dear boy, make yourself welcome,
because I like you in my head,
keeping me company in my sleep.
I'll dream of you, maybe.
Feel free to dream of me.

That was a beautiful poem of love! =] The imagery was amazing. I, right now am finding a hard time with letting people in my heart, especially one particular person the most. But anyway, fantastic job + keep it up! 5/5

I think the imagery of this free verse poem
flows from your heart as well as your mind as in I feel the poem directing my thoughts to a sea of emotion and fantasy, inviting the desired love into your soul
