Why couldnt we be

You stole my heart,
then tore it apart,
why was it this way,
now not wanting
to live another day,
why did you wait for me to tell you how i felt,
why couldn't you just say,
should've changed the hand you dealt,
now i can never trust again,
i have to hold back my heart
been through to much pain
i pic myself back up again and back at the start,
now i hope i can take the chance,
and try just one more time,,
try to find the right girl,
and try to make her mine....
