THE SEA OF CHANGE

by Vikas Tapan Bhadra   Jan 2, 2007

The sea of change
Like the tide unchanged
Hitting across the seas
Hitting the stone
Unloading the chill
The chill in the bone
For love we aspire but what do we get
A few phone calls and rest is regret
Because she has a mind of her own
She can own and disown
Laziness is her attitude
Desire to get the moon her ambition
Somewhere we entered
And got involved
In her eyes that mesmerized
Did talk a bit
Had a lot of fun
Fun via sms
Fun via talk
Staring at her made me forget
My every moment of regret
Regret that was life
Before
Before I had stepped to work
To the fore
I was filled with utmost thoughts of vengeance all the time
For I had been right
And wronged all the time
For no mistake of mine
Others had a laugh
And I was a gambler
Who was made to shoot off in a way.
In a path that ended in dismay
Love was never there what existed
Was pain
Pain that would drain the finances
And drive me insane
I don't know who had fun by doing it
But one thing's sure the day I find him
He will be dead
Or will there be love to lead the way
If yes, god give it to me
Give her the strength to speak to me
And let her be mine.

(Dedicated to my family and a someone who might get married real soon)
