Her Nightmare

by Julia   Jan 2, 2007

Oh look at what has become of us
Another body lay sprawled across the ground
But this was not another teen tragedy
It was so much more than we will ever know

The empty feeling she got
The numbness inside her heart
Each day she went with a smile
And the questions soon subsided

There was only a few
Who could see through her poor charade
She was like a a broken butterfly
Bound to the darkness of her life

Each day seemed to go with a blurr
And each night would be spent
Tossing and turning with wet eyes
It was a nightmare to call her own

She could only go on for so long
Before she snapped
No one could truly understand
Everything they had was left behind

So many cry for some one they didn't even know
So many would never understand
Each day that this girl went through life
Was another spent away from them.
