BURN

by just chelsea   Jan 3, 2007

Burn the remains
Watch it all go up in flames

Burn up the memories, the dreams
Your heart slowly torn down seams

Burn the words, burn the lies
Spill it out, the ache inside

Burn the hate, burn the pain
In this drought without rain

Burn the laughter and the tears
All the drama through the years

Burn the last of the suicide
The thoughts that dwell deep inside

Burn the pages of this book
Turn away, and never look

The words are eating by the flame
And your the only one to blame

As my life was burnt away
I fell to the floor that day

To scream, to yell, to hate, to cry
To wish that you would fade and die

Then the tears put the fire out
Ended the hate, ended the drought

I grew up and learned to survive
It feels so good to be alive

A student will learn, a teacher will teach
A chior will sing, and a preacher will preach

The smoke has cleared, all is well
I'm no longer apart of your hell

I've finally cleand up my mess
And I've gained more instead of less

So close your curtain and take a bow
'Cause I'm the one who's happy now
