The Telling

by Andrew Sillen   Jan 3, 2007

The terrors in my life unclothe me with piercing truths,
Frail battle plans,
Deep sucking sands.

The errors of my days confound me through leaden nights
For when I stayed
My demons played.

When bellows of the unforgiven tell of two deaths,
The hammers fall,
Each renders all.

The spirit in each heart is broken with the dawning gold,
When longings burst
At fury's curse.
