I liked the idea behind this poem, we've all been betrayed by a friend at one point of another. I didn't find it flowed very well, and the rhymes seemed a bit forced. There were some lines you had that comletely overpowered the poem, and they were completely flawless, like:

"I had no idea you would betray my trust."
and
"I do forgive you, you knew that i would."

I loved them, and i could really relate to the second one.

All in all, great work hun.

The very first word that popped into my mind after reading this poem was 'cute'.
(this comment is a gem, for that word rarely has any place in my vocabulary.)

"So, here we go entering another day.
At the end of today I promise I will pray.
I will pray for you and all that you do.
I hope the good lord sees you through."

that was my favorite stanza. this is a beautiful poem. you're a very talented writer. keep it up.

The feelings of being betrayed sometiimes cause pain that can not be fixed. You have captured this very well. I love the way you have ended in a way praying still for the one that caused you this pain. Very touching poem.
