The Way I Feel

I can't describe in words,
What I want to say.
And I can't explain at all,
Why I feel this way.

With you, I get butterflies,
And my heart begins to race.
And every time you laugh,
I wish to see your face.

It's funny,
How I can fall for you so fast.
And every moment I talk to you,
I wish for it to forever last.

Relaxed and comfortable,
Is this how it used to be?
The feeling that I'd lost,
Is it coming back to me?

I don't know, but talking to you,
I can feel my stomach flop.
Sometimes I can't speak,
And my heart comes to a stop.

These are just the simple things,
That I can say in words.
But sometimes it's so unbelievable,
It all just seems absurd.

I still think it's a dream;
I can't believe it's real.
But maybe this short poem I wrote,
Will explain to you how I feel.

    Wow great job! i love this poem because it describes exactly how i feel about my boyfriend. i couldnt stop smileing as a read this poem. and i have to agree with what you said at the end about the third stanza not flowing... but its okay because the rest of the poem is amazing!

    That was so cute and adorably sweet.
    Right now I can relate to this in some ways. I too deal with explaining myself better in poems than face to face.
