Blame

Although it is not yet to end,
The time is coming near,
And when it does it will take more to mend,
Than your 'smile' thats more a leer.

I want to talk to you this very day,
But that thought brings me great fear,
What if its rejection heading my way?
If so just make that clear.

"I'm not the problem here" i wish,
But self-reassurance is something i don't do.
You need more than one ingredient to make dish.
So i must be to blame as well as you.
