Breathing in oxygen that hits you like poison
Wincing in pain to every move you make
This disease has really got you
And I dont know how much more you can take
You tell me your fine, and everything will be okay
But you and I both know, the cancers here to stay
Your faith is fading away, it left you with that
But the doctors and nurses made sure that didnt hang around
I see you lying there, months on
And realise your already gone
And this person I looked up to?
Sitting in this hospital bed, waiting to die
He doesnt even cry.
This Careless cancer.
It doesnt care
Fight it you say?
You wouldnt dare
