Just Leave

by Tripp   Jan 6, 2007

This lifestyle, this life of mine
I'm not well, but I may seem fine
some stuff happens you don't see
and telling you just doesn't matter to me

Behind the scenes stuff goes down
turning my face into a perpetual frown
stuff happens I'd rather not talk about
I wanna leave now, I want immediate out

I wanna get on a taxi, and just leave
until that day I'll hold my breath; not breathe
holding it for my day of release
holding for the day when I finally have peace

I'm feeling quite unwanted and worthless
since day one I've been searching for a purpose
I've found none, I have yet to succeed
soon the devil's call I'll heed

Leave this place, now and forever
to be re-united once again never
in the pits of hell I'll eternally burn
I've walked down this path
never to return

Lol I got freaked out when I saw the title 'cause I have one called "Just Leave Me Now." Frankly I think yours is awesome! I admit I have a slight fetish for the afterlife references and you weaved them in good. Even if they're not used in an afterlife sense, but more a metaphorical sense I find them cool. Not just that though, the whole poem's good. :D xo
