My Job As Liar

by UglySkeleton   Jan 7, 2007

Drenched in your happiness
I caught in a web of lies
Trying to cure this madness
I end up standing in a broken bridge

There's no way
Where I can hide
Or running away from your crowds

Staring at the black ceiling
Blood dripping at the side of the bed
Let me say this out..
I'm a liar
And this is.. my job.
Your perfect friend.

The smoky black door
Lead me to your life
I rather in my death bed than wasting my time digging your grave.

Bleeding behind your back
I'm trying to find the route to turn back
Let my lullaby blind my lies
And let the truth comes on the right time

This is my job
I'm a liar when you are at my side

I can't say the truth
I loathe you so much
I can't see the lights coming from you
I loathe you so much
In my heart, you're not right
In my mind, you're not yourself
In my sleep, you're the beast
This is my job
I'm a liar when you are at my side.
This is my job
And I loathe it so much..

The skirt I'm wearing
Stains with your blood
You're oblivious
Tell me when you've had enough..

    The smoky black door
    Lead me to your life
