How Years Have Passed

by GoldenHeart   Jan 7, 2007

We used to go out
In our previous school,
But sadly i can say
I used you; a tool,

I cheated on you
I feel so bad,
When i look back now
It hurts a tad,

We lost contact
I'm sad that we did,
We lived close together
But instead we hid,

Four years had passed
We talked in the end,
But what did i say?
"Have you a boyfriend?",

Almost nine years later
From when we first met,
I'll never lose you again
So don't your fret.

To someone I care about alot...

This poem was really nice, Wonderfully penned. You see the last stanza

    The very last word

    Almost nine years later
    From when we first met,
    I'll never lose you again
    So don't your (fret)

You should have put it (forget)

It makes it sound more poetic. But if you like it the way you have written it, then leave it the way it is. I'm just saying, thats all.

Other then that, your poem was amazing 5/5.

    Take care,
