Five Days

Are you going away for good?
Without leaving me a goodbye,
I'll take on the world to keep you here,
I didn't stop loving you, and it's something I'd never deny.

I remember our long pointless conversations,
And how they'd always make me smile,
It's something I really miss,
And I have done for a while.

There was lack of meaning in everything
When you went away,
And now you're going again,
I need you here to keep my sad thoughts a bay.

You're the only one
I've felt this strongly for,
And I've missed you so much,
Now your gone again, it'll be like before.

I wish so much that you could stay
Or even, we have more time,
Because you're going in five more days,
And that doesn't leave much time.

And I really do hope you say goodbye
When you have to go.
