Snow Puddles

Snow Puddles

It's hard to hide smiles, in my face
Because the snow is coming down, similar to lace
I've waited for hours, and it finally has come
My nose is slowly, beginning to numb

The Snow falls magically, with such a fast pace
It's falling, with so much grace
Not being alike, each snowflake
It falls elegantly, something not fake

The snow is something special, of that I'm sure
It is so white, and O' so pure
The snow covers everything, nothing can escape it
I do believe, I never want it to quit

There isn't one voice; I haven't heard a sound
The setting sun, is such an alluring background
I awaken my eyes, looking to the sky
Watching the snow descend, as it begins to intensify

There's lots of nice images here - little problems with the grammar, and to end on the note of flowers dying didn't sit quite right with me. Still, a good poem
