Listen closely to the faults of the world

by Yazdan   Jan 9, 2007

Sit down my child
And listen with virgin ears
I'll tell you a story
That nobody hears
The world is not perfect
Nor as how it seems
Society masks it
To make it look like our dreams
Many people are poor
They have not what we do
They cannot afford the luxury
Of buying something new
This world is unjust
People get killed with no reason
And the public opinions
Change like the seasons
When someone is killed
the clean-up is a chore
Death is a statistic
Nothing less, nothing more
Men abuse power
and abuse those they love
They demean them
And then float above
The media is corrupt
They mutate society
We are what we fear
We all fear variety
Don't be like them
Fear what i have told
Change the world around you
Before your too old

A great poem and caring advice, too.
