Walking away from god

by Yazdan   Jan 10, 2007

If you exist god, then forgive me
Logic is my teacher, and it says that you can't be
I wish not to offend but to be free
Religion was the blindfold that didn't let me see
I wish to love life, not he
Who claims to guard joy's door and demands belief as his fee
Your gate is a fraud, I'm as happy as can be
My joy comes from her, her presence sets me free

Ohhh, Yazdan, the last three lines are amazing.

I love them, I love them, I love them.

    You're a wonderful writer, hun.
